About Us

WFashionLady is a fashion and beauty publication for readers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. We write about the things people actually get stuck on: whether a size will fit, how to stop something fading, which technique is worth learning, and what a service should realistically cost.

Why this site exists

Most fashion content shows you a picture and leaves you to work out the rest. Nobody tells you what a service costs, how a fabric behaves after twenty washes, or which trend will look dated by next season. This site exists to fill in what the photo leaves out.

Who we are

WFashionLady is run by a small family team in Lahore, Pakistan, writing for readers in the US, UK and Europe.

Mania Faizan follows clothing and styling across both Western and South Asian labels, tracking how cuts, fabrics and price points differ between markets. She writes about fit, sizing and what a garment is actually like to own after a few months.

Faizan has worked in fashion publishing since 2012 — building fashion websites, developing content, running SEO and managing social media. He handles the editorial side of the site and its technical operation.

Other members of the family contribute ideas and research, particularly on beauty and current trends.

What we are, and what we are not

We are not licensed stylists, colorists, dermatologists or nail technicians, and we do not claim to be. What we bring is careful research, an eye for the questions people actually ask, and honest reporting of what we do and do not know.

Where we have not tested something ourselves, we say so. Where we cannot verify a claim, we leave it out.

How we work

Our Editorial Policy sets out how we research and correct what we publish, including our commitments not to invent statistics or claim credentials we do not hold.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains how that works and why it does not affect our recommendations.
